History Half Pints Promises a Summer of Fun!
The summer series of our popular History Half Pints program brings a summer of fun and learning for our youngest audience. Each month through story, activities and crafts, Mrs. R helps us explore a new theme. From bakeries to gardening our summer is jam packed.
Monday June 13 the theme is bakeries in Let’s Eat Cake using “Nanette’s Baguette” by Mo Williems, “Louise Loves Bake Sales” by Kelly Light and “Bakery” by Tammy Detrick, we’ll learn all about baking!
Monday July 11 we did into reading with Reading Between the Spines. Books for this program included “Arthur’s Reading Trick” by Marc Brown, “How a Book is Made” by Aliki, and “A Library Book for Bear” by Bonny Becker.
Monday August 8 gets us in the garden with a Little Dirt Never Hurt. We’ll explore all things gardens, flowers and plants through the books “Zinnia’s Flower Garden” by Monica Wellington, “Planting a Rainbow” by Lois Ehlert and “How a Seed Grows” by Helene Jordan.
Each program runs 10:30 – 12:00.
The cost is $4.50 per preschooler per program and each preschooler must be accompanied by an adult.
