Winter and Spring History Half Pints Series Now Registering

We will have another series this summer

What do Bikes, Banks and Firemen have in common?  They are all part of our popular History Half Pint Preschool story time series!  The first session starts March 13.

Join Mrs. R and Marv in our popular program just for preschoolers and their adults.  You’ll hear stories, have crafts, jump and dance and take home fun activities to do later.

The cost is $4.50 per student and each student must be accompanied by an adult.  Registration is required.

Programs are 90 minutes long!

 

Monday March 13th 10:30 – 12:00: Bank on It:  All about Money.  Books featured include Benny’s Pennies by Pat Bresson, Bunny Money by Rosemary Wells, Berenstain Bears Trouble with Money by Stan Berenstain.  We will even take a walking field trip to Key Bank.

Monday April 10:  NOTE CHANGE IN START TIME:  10:00 – 11:30: Too Hot to Handle: Fire Safety.  Books featured include:  A Day in the Life of a Firefighter by Linda Haywood, No Dragons for Tea by Jean Pendziwol, Miss Mingo and the Fire Drill by Jamie Harper.  We will learn all about fire safety and take a walk to our local fire department.

Monday May 8th 10:30 – 12:00:  Pop A Wheelie: Bikes are Fun.  Books featured include: Do you Like My Bike by Norm Feuti, Being Safe on a Bike by Franklin Watts, Duck on a Bike by David Shannon.  We will also welcome a speaker from SpokeLife.
