Deadline for registration is October 11th.

• Pies must have a pastry crust
• Pies must be completely from scratch - no store bought crusts or fillings 
• Pies must be made in a disposable pan
• No pies that require refrigeration such as cream or custard pies
• You can submit more than one pie

Ribbons will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners as well as a Judge's Choice. Pies will be judged by a panel of volunteers who will refer to a scoring sheet. 

Winning pies will be announced on stage during the Fall Festival event and posted on social media. 

A Heritage Sylvania member will contact the winners to retrieve their ribbons.

Pies are to be dropped off at Mayberry Ice Cream on Sunday, October 18th between 8:30am and 9:30am. 

Please consider traffic and parking as it may be limited during this time.

Judging will start at 10:00am and conclude by 11:30am.

If you choose to pick your pie up after the judging, you can return to Mayberry Ice Cream between 11:45am and 12:30pm. 

Please note, parking will be difficult during pick up as we anticipate the lot to be full. Please have someone with you who can run in to grab the pie or contact Heritage Sylvania staff once you arrive. A cell phone number can be provided to you when you drop your pie off. 

Any pies remaining after 12:30pm will be disposed of (and by that we mean, likely eaten by volunteers.)
