Chaperone Information
Field trips are such a fun day, having chaperones makes the day easier and even more fun! Here are some helpful reminders for parents when they chaperone at Heritage Sylvania.
- Participation is encouraged from students, teachers, and parents. That can be active listening or being engaged with the activity.
- Don't forget to dress for the weather and for walking around as you will be rotating in and out of buildings throughout your time here.
- There may be times when we ask some chaperones to wait outside of the building or in an adjacent building. Due to the historic nature of some of our buildings, we can only accommodate roughly 28 people inside at one time.
- Please be aware and respectful of the presentation taking place. Please take any conversations outside of the building as to not disrupt the presentation.
- Smoking is not permitted on our campus.
