Join us at the 39th Annual Sylvania Fall Festival and dust off your recipes for this year’s Pie Baking Contest!  Read below for this year’s contest details. Please note: The 39th Annual Fall Festival will be held at Centennial Terrace, and this year’s Pie Baking Contest will be across the street at Mayberry Ice Cream.

 Rules and guidelines to keep in mind while baking your pie(s):

• Pies must be homemade.
  • No store-bought pies will be accepted
• Pies must have a pastry crust.
• Pies must be completely from scratch.
  • No store-bought crusts or fillings.
• Pies must be made in a disposable pan.
  • Pies cannot be picked up after judging
• No pies that require refrigeration, such as cream or custard pies

Pie Drop Off:

October 19th from 8:15 am to 9:15 am

Awards and winners will be announced on the main stage before the start of the parade at 12 pm.
