Fall into Fun with History Half Pints

Registration now open for our popular History Half Pints preschool program

Join Mrs. R and Marv for more fun and learning just for preschoolers and their families.  Each 90-minute session includes stories, movement, crafts and more!

Especially designed for preschoolers, these sessions make learning fun for both children and adults.

Sessions are the second Monday of each month from 10:30 – 12:00.

Prepayment and preregistration are required.

Our fall themes are:

Monday September 11 – Are You Listening?  – We learn how important it is to listen and practice our listening skills.  Books include:  “Squeak, Rumble, Whomp! Whomp! Whomp!” by Wynton Marsales, “The Listening Walk” by Paul Showers, and “What If You Had Animal Ears” by Sandra Markle.

Monday, October 9 – Venturesome Veggies – Veggies are so yummy and we learn all about them just in time for Fall Harvest.  Books include:  “Growing Vegetable Soup” by Lois Ehlert, “The Enormous Potato” by Aubry Davis and “Carrots Grow Underground” by Mari Schuh.

Monday, November 13 – Art: The Creative Streak –  Do you like to be creative?  We do too!  Mrs. R and Marv will help bring out the artist in your preschooler with this great session.   Books include:  “The Noisy Paint Box” by Barb Rosenstock and Mary Grandpre, “Louise Loves Art” by Kelly Light, “The Art Lesson” by Tomi dePaolo, and “The Dot” by Peter Reynolds.

Pre-registration and prepayment are required.  Cost is $4.50 per child; adults are free.  Please note: children must be accompanied by an adult.
