At Heritage Sylvania, we take the health and safety of our guests and staff very seriously. Working with the federal, state and local health agencies, the Ohio Department of Tourism and the Ohio Humanities Council, along with many local and regional partners, we are closely monitoring the developments related to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Based on the current information from the CDC and the Ohio Governor’s Office, we are closing all our sites and postponing all our ancillary programming until April 18. We will continue to monitor the situation and reassess policies and programming as it relates to open hours in the Museum, the Lathrop House, the Village and other upcoming events.
This includes our upcoming History Halfpints and Gnome Classes.
We hope you will follow us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/sylvaniahistoricalvillage/ as we will be posting on line activities that families can do at home during this time!
We encourage you to take steps to keep yourself and community healthy. The Toledo Lucas County Website is continuing to update as new information is available. https://www.lucascountyhealth.com
During this time of uncertainty, we hope you will stay healthy and find support and care with your family and loved ones. We look forward to continuing to serve you and are working towards new and creative ways to help us remember and celebrate all the historic moments of our lives.
